Required Experience:

• +10 years of progressive job experience in the Denim Apparel Industry

Educational Qualifications:

• BSc Textile Engineering / BS Apparel Manufacturing / MS Clothing & Fashion from authorized institute
• Proven track record of success in the clothing development industry.

Job Description:

• Inquiries about Fabric and Washes were subjected to a technical examination.
• Material development from several fabric providers, as well as the creation of a fabric library.
• Monthly and seasonal collections are being developed in accordance with market trends and cutting-edge technology. - Product Development and Engineering
• Technical Proposals for Product Feasibility and Cost-Effectiveness Strategies
• Collaborate with Marketing and Design on new development possibilities.
• Responsible for ensuring that product testing requirements are met while maintaining fabric aesthetics.
• To guarantee a seamless product development process, communicate with the development team and cross-functional teams on a regular basis.
• Researches new technologies and materials and informs Marketing and Design on new development possibilities.
• Internal and external teams should be informed on seasonal product efforts, process changes, and the category's long-term goal.
• Interfacing with Marketing, Design, Materials Development, Pattern, Logistics, and Sourcing is extremely important (Technical Services, Materials, Merchandising, and Production).
• At calendar mil, ensures timely and correct data input for Article Description/Bill of Materials, costing, and other data.
• Ascertain that all materials, accessories, and prototypes have been thoroughly tested and meet quality, safety, and social norms.
• As needed, discuss quality exceptions with top management.
• Investigates market or supply chain innovation in the areas of garment structure, pattern/fit, decoration, and trimmings.
• Keep a fabric resource library on hand to assist seasonal inspirations and to record historical and essential fabrications.
• Manage a team to achieve high performance through efficient delegation, goal-setting, performance evaluations, motivating, and training and development.

The Most Important Skills Required:

• Technical expertise in yarns, fabrications, and their structures
• Advanced understanding of materials, products, and related tests - Advanced costing knowledge and the capacity to bargain as needed
• Proven ability to collaborate and collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and production teams.
• Ability to produce fabric from a variety of sources and manage a fabric library.
• Ability to adapt to change, make judgments, and act with confidence in the face of danger and uncertainty
• Strong interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to communicate with top management on a regular basis
• Strong organizational and managerial abilities, as well as the capacity to keep data safe.
