Introduction of Rescue 1122 Punjab:
The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) is South Asia's most
well-known emergency service. The Punjab Emergency Service Act 2006 established
Rescue 1122 for the professional handling of situations like traffic
accidents, medical emergencies, building collapses, fires, hazardous material
events, explosions, flood & water rescue, and animal rescue, among others.
Through its Emergency Ambulance, Rescue & Fire services, and Community
Emergency Response Teams, Rescue 1122 has saved millions of emergency victims
while maintaining its rapid response and standards in all districts of Punjab
province, which has a population of over 110 million people.
The Emergency Services Academy was also formed in Lahore to support Pakistan's emergency services' long-term human resource development. The
academy has taught over 20,000 emergency service employees from all of
Pakistan's provinces. This Academy's Pakistan Rescue Squad is South Asia's
first United Nations INSARAG-certified team. The SAARC Rescue Challenge was
also conducted by the Academy.
Quick Service:
By providing quick response and expert fire fighting in over
160,000 fire events, this Emergency Rescue Service has rescued over 9.3 million
victims of accidents and catastrophes and saved over Rs. 490 billion in
damages. In order to increase emergency response in congested locations and
traffic bottlenecks, the Motorbike Ambulance Service was also developed. This
motorcycle service has responded to over 700,000 emergency calls with an
average response time of roughly 4 minutes, which is a world record.

For its Motorbike Ambulance Services, the Punjab Emergency Services
Department is accepting applications for the positions of Emergency Medical
Technician (BPS-11), Rescue Driver (BPS-04), and Security Guard (BPS-01). This
job is open to candidates from all around Punjab.
Eligibility Criteria:
Those who are interested in being hired must fulfill the post's
qualifying standards. Applicants with a recognized nursing or paramedical
diploma are eligible to apply. The candidate must be between the ages of 20 and
30.
LTV/HTV driver's Jobs:
Candidates who have completed their matriculation and have a valid
LTV/HTV driver's license and are between the ages of 20 and 30 years old are
eligible to apply for 13 new Rescue Driver jobs in Rescue 1122. Security Guard
Jobs are open to retired army personnel with a minimum height of 5 feet 8
inches.
The quota for Local Residents:
Local inhabitants will be given priority, according to CNIC. A 5%
quota will be set aside for minorities, while a 15% quota will be set up for
women. Shemales are also welcome to apply. Only applications that meet the
chosen criteria will be evaluated if there are a significant number of
applicants.

Procedure to Apply for Rescue 1122 Jobs 2021 – Punjab Emergency

- The Pakistan Testing Services PTS will be in charge of filling these positions. Candidates can apply online by visiting the PTS website at www.pts.org.pk. The Rescue 1122 website, www.rescue.gov.pk, also has a link to the application procedure.
- Candidates must send their applications and supporting documentation to Pakistan Testing Services via postal mail. Applications with the required information and papers must be received by the PTS Head Office by November 19, 2021.
- Only fully completed online applications that meet all of the criteria will be accepted. All papers are accepted on a provisional basis, and the offer of employment is contingent on document verification, police verification, successful completion of training, and medical board approval.
