Overview of Punjab Forests Dept:
- The Department of Forestry, Wildlife, and Fisheries is an associated department of the Forestry, Wildlife, and Fisheries Department that was established in 1886 as the imperial forest service under British control.
- Pakistan's forest service was established in 1947, shortly after the country's independence.
- After the dismantling of one section in 1969, the Punjab Forest Service was formed.
