About
WSSP Profile Overview:
The
Department of Local Government, Elections, and Rural Development is trying to
meet the particular requirements of residents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who fall
within the purview of local administration. To meet the stated objectives of
the local government reforms implemented by the Government of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa, the Department has been tasked with implementing the Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Act 2013 and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local
Government Amendment Act 2019. The Department also has regulatory and
administrative responsibilities to ensure that local governments across the
province carry out their tasks and responsibilities in accordance with the new
policy framework.
Water
and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP):
Under
the Companies Ordinance, 1984, the Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar
(WSSP) is a recently founded urban utility in Peshawar as a public limited
company, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan
(SECP), and entirely owned by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It is Pakistan's first water and sanitation corporation to provide ring-fenced, completely autonomous, professionally managed, and corporately administered urban water and sanitation services. WSSP has 43 urban and semi-urban union councils in its geographical territory.

Fleet
Officer, HR Officer, Audit Officer, and Graphic Designer/Photographer positions
are all available. Candidates with excellent credentials backgrounds such as a
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in IT, BBA Hons, MBA Finance, Master's Degree
(Business Administration, Finance, Commerce), CA, ACCA, ICMA, or DAE with
sufficient experience in the same subject are preferred for these positions.
The
WSSP pays its workers market-based competitive salaries that are consistent
