Incorporated in 1998, Islamabad Electric Supply Business is an
electric utility company in Islamabad. The Islamabad Area Electricity Board,
which was then a part of WAPDA, was dissolved in 1998, and IESCO was founded to
take over its assets, powers, and responsibilities.
IESCO is an electricity distribution corporation that serves
Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal districts. IESCO is now
recruiting for a Chief Law Officer who is highly driven, competent, and
experienced to lead the organization.
- LLB is required, although having an LLM/Bar at Law will be preferred.
- HEC will confirm the degree/equivalency.
- It is necessary to have at least 12 years of experience as a Supreme/High Court advocate/equivalent experience in Corporate Law, Company Law, Services & Labor Law, ADR, Regulator & Commercial Affairs.
- Three years of experience working in regulatory or power/public sector organisations is desired.
- A candidate's relevant legal background will be regarded as an added bonus.
- On the closing date of the advertising, the candidate's maximum age restriction will be fifty years.
